Christophоr Peychev is born on March 24, 1933 in Razgrad. He graduated black and white drawing and poster at Art Academy in 1958and began working as an artist-designer in Samokov. Member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists since 1979. He has organized six individual exhibitions in Samokov. He has participated in dozens of regional, national and international exhibitions, including Russia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland and other countries. His works are in galleries and private collections in Austria, England, Holland, USA, Canada, Mexico, Israel, Syria, Thailand and others, as well as in galleries in Samokov, Razgrad, Blagoevgrad, Smolyan region and others.

He works mainly painting, graphics / drypoint / and applied graphics.

Author of the crest of Samokov and a number of trademarks and designs for color design of buildings.

He was awarded the medal “Cyril and Methodius” – third degree. Honorary Citizen of Samokov.
