Slavtcho Zmiyarov was born 13.09.1952 in Samokov. He is the only successor of the ancient art of cutlery. Self-taught artist, but mastered to perfection the techniques of the ancient art of cutlery, he is now chairman of the examination committee of cutlery of “National Chamber of Crafts.” He has participated in various exhibitions at home and abroad – Germany, Belgium, France. He makes entirely by hand exhibits on ancient technologies in single copies on its own model. Designed for collectors and connoisseurs of art cutlery. The exhibits feature precise workmanship and functionality. The Master manufactures over 40 models antiquity, hunting, hiking and folding knives. Materials – stainless steel (cutlery), silver, bone, horn, leather, wood. In 2012 he was nominated for best master cutler from the Association for the Protection of Arts and Crafts.
